933 Pneumatic Pinch Valves
The
Model 933 is a dual acting, pneumatically-actuated pinch valve,
available for either normally-opened
(N/O) or normally-closed
(N/C) operation. It is designed to work with flexible tubing,
where easy replacement of the entire fluid path is required.
These valves are robustly designed making them suitable for
pressure or vacuum services.
Standard Features
- Snap-In Tube Loading for quick change of disposable tube
sets.
- Override Button allows manual actuation of the valve for
tube loading.
- Splash Seals guard against spills and debris, prevent contaminants
from entering the valve, and allow for cleaning without disassembly (currently
only available in panel mount design).
- Panel or Base Mounting allows for mounting in any position
and provides for flexibility in meeting your system design requirements.
- Valves calibrated for each application to optimize performance.
- Strong pinching forces capable of handling a variety of
flexible tubing materials.
- Simple, reliable design with a million+ cycle life
span.
- No Wetted Parts and Zero Dead Volume.
- Smooth and quiet actuation with no heat generation
in the actuated state.

Available Options
- Position
Sensing supplies electronic feedback on a valves
position or state and confirms that a valve is in the state
dictated by a control input.
- Three-Way Control Valve required for
operation of all pneumatic valves and can be purchased through
Acro or customer supplied.
Acros pinch valves have been successfully
used in applications where precise control of sterile fluids
is required
- Blood analyzers to control test samples and fluids.
- Kidney and peritoneal dialysis machines.
- Surgical suction lines for body fluid recovery.
- Arterial catheterization procedures.
- Multi-fluid drug delivery and control systems.
- Food and beverage dispensing equipment.
- Metering and injection services.
- Analyzing and sampling instrumentation.
- Feed and anti-siphon control systems for high viscosity,
powders and abrasive fluids.
- Wafer processing and photo-resist equipment.
- Peristaltic pump systems to handle on/off and emergency
stop functions.
