Modular Controller Our Model 900R Modular Controller Boards is a rugged, cost-effective control module that provides three primary functions:

Interfacing high-performance solenoid actuators (such as Acro’s Models 904, 955, 958 and 960 Solenoid Pinch Valves) to computer systems and digital logic.
Provide Pulse & Hold actuation. Pulse & Hold is required for solenoid pinch valve applications that require more power to actuate than they can dissipate as heat on a continuous basis. Our controller enhances the performance of our solenoid valves by over-driving the solenoid with a short duration high current pulse followed by a continuous hold state that optimizes power consumption and minimizing heat generation.
Delivers diagnostic feedback and root cause in the event of valve failure.

Standard Features

Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) mode conserves energy and reduces waste-heat production.
High output drive: 5.0 amps.
Integrated current sensor analyzes load current for additional power savings, making it 3 to 10 times more power efficient.

Opto-isolated differential trigger (user interface) can be directly wired to relays, transistor logic, digital I/O boards and PLCs.
Protection against short-circuits, power reversal on its supply pins, and over/under current conditions.
Multi-color diagnostic LED for easy configuration and diagnosis.

Available Options

Closed-loop controller for valves with position sensing that reads feedback from position sensors and monitors faults.
